PHYTASE 10,000

Enzymes are one of the main nutritional tools for reducing the costs of producing animal protein from poultry and swine. They contribute to more sustainable production, by maximizing the use of nutrients, present in conventional and unconventional ingredients. About 2/3 or more of the phosphorus contained in cereal grains and their by-products is unavailable. The unavailability is due to the amount of phosphorus that is attached to the phytic acid molecule, hexaphosphoric Myo-inositol acid, or simply phytate. Phytate, in addition to making phosphorus unavailable, chelates divalent cations (Ca, Fe, Mg, Zn, Mn, etc.). Therefore, Phytase not only makes phosphorus available but also other minerals.
