As part of its mission and purpose, starting from the 2022/2023 harvest, OPTA will make its quality control and traceability processes available to partners and consumers through the OPTA Blockchain system. This tool provides all documentation of the produced batches under encrypted protocols, making it securely accessible in real time, in an agile and enduring manner.
Our production and processes, which currently also hold ProTerra and NON-GMO certifications, will have the entire flow of information from planting to final product tracked online in a collaborative environment. Here, links in the supply chain, both before and after OPTA’s activities, will be able to contribute their data and information.
With the OPTA Blockchain system, it is possible to track the monitored stages in the current process, which include: Harvest, Reception, Drying, Processing, Lot Analysis and Certification, Storage, Purging, and Shipping. Customers can uniquely view the traceability report for each received batch, including data, reports, and images of all stages, and verify its authenticity and provenance with a simple scan of a QR CODE.
The increasing demand for information, tracking, and quality from end consumers will determine the actions and guidelines of various agribusiness chains. Join us and connect with the transparency of future food!
